USC Scripter Awards 2021 has just announced its nominees. The best screenwriters of the year will compete for the prize at the 33rd award edition. The ceremony itself is scheduled for March, so don’t waste time and take a look at the most possible winners.   USC Scripter Awards is one of the main award ceremonies honoring the best authors and screenwriters of the year. It was launched by the University of Southern California (USC) in 1988 and became one of the most prestigious awards of its kind. Its shows are annually held in California, but this year’s one will be virtual due to the circumstances. In 2021, USC will host its first online award ceremony on March 13. Let’s see who received a nomination and the best odds to win at online gambling sites in Canada.

To receive a USC Scripter Award for the Best Film Adaptation

Winning the Best Film Adaptation award at the USC Scripter Award is prestigious for any writer. In past years, screenwriters of such films as Schindler's List, The Shawshank Redemption, The Social Network, and Moonlight were given a prize. Last year, Greta Gerwig won the award for her Little Women

In 2021, equally great movies received nominations for their scenarios. Screenwriters of Bad Education, Nomadland, First Cow, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and One Night In Miami will compete for the award. Who has the best winning chances, according to 22Bet Sportsbook? Apparently, Nomadland’s author and director Chloé Zhao has the best odds to win at USC Scripter Awards 2021. Her odds are 1.77, which is the best result at many online sportsbooks. Nomadland is currently one of the main Oscar favorites, so Zhao is highly likely to become an awardee for her film. One Night In Miami and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom are runners-up with 3.24 and 6.00 odds respectively.

USC Scripter Awards 2021: Best Episodic Series Writing

The TV nomination at the USC Scripter Awards appeared only in 2015. Show Me A Hero became the first series to receive the prize for screenwriters' work, outrunning even Game Of Thrones. In the next years, such series as The Handmaid’s Tale, A Very English Scandal, and Fleabag were among the winners. This year’s nominees are The Good Lord Bird, Normal People, The Plot Against America, The Queen’s Gambit, and Unorthodox. According to online sportsbooks in Canada, there are two main favorites to win: Normal People and The Queen’s Gambit. Both lead the 22Bet odds of 2.20 and 2.85 respectively. Many viewers root for Scott Frank and his adaptation of The Queen’s Gambit novel. What about you? If none of the favorites look good for you, you can always bet on the runner-up. With 3.74 odds, Unorthodox has third-best chances to win USC Scripter Awards 2021.
