2021 MotoGP Austria Odds: Can Martin Get His Second Victory at Red Bull Ring?

  • 2021 Austrian Grand Prix is held this weekend, on the 15th of August
  • This is the second race in Austria after the Styrian Grand Prix
  • Jorge Martin won his first MotoGP victory and is in the favorites again

The 2021 MotoGP season stays in Austria for the second week after the Styrian Grand Prix. In the Austrian Grand Prix, all riders will have another chance to win on the familiar circuit. Including last weekend’s winner, Jorge Martin who is mentioned again by the 2021 MotoGP Austria odds as a favorite.

After last season’s double-headers in Austria, the Red Bull Ring hosts two races in MotoGP this year again. With the second race, the Austrian Grand Prix being held this weekend. MotoGP rookie Jorge Martin managed to win last weekend’s Styrian Grand Prix ahead of Joan Mir and Fabio Quartararo. The latter confidently leads the championship now, 40 points ahead of his compatriot, Johann Zarco. Fans could see a frightening accident last Sunday when Dani Pedrosa collided with Lorenzo Savadori. The race was stopped and restarted after a long delay with Pedrosa back in the race. His old teammate, Marc Marquez struggled again with Honda and finished only in 8th place. Now the 8-time world champion can try again to achieve a better result just like the rest of the field.

2021 MotoGP Austria odds mention Marquez and Martin in top favorites

In spite of only winning one race since his return, online sportsbooks in Austria offer the smallest odds, 5.00 for the victory of Marc Marquez. The Spanish champion is currently in 10th place in the championship with only 58 points. But surely he wants to move up in the standings and can do so in the second half of the season. Marquez and Honda just couldn’t keep up last weekend after the restart on a new set of tires, even though he won the wet morning practice ahead of the race. Now Marquez and the team are hoping for a better result at the Red Bull Ring.

While Ducati rider Jorge Martin surely wants to repeat his performance last week when he managed to get his first MotoGP victory. This season’s rookie rode brilliantly and kept his lead after starting from the pole position. The Styrian Grand Prix was only his seventh MotoGP race after he suffered an accident in Portugal. The Spanish rider had to miss three races but it looks like he has fully recovered from his injuries. He also has the odds of 5.00 to win this weekend again according to the 2021 MotoGP Austria odds.

Quartararo, Mir and Bagnaia can also win the race

Fabio Quartararo has been riding superbly this season. He leads the championship confidently after winning four races and finishing on the podium three more times.

The Yamaha rider was third last weekend but can easily get an even better result this time. Just like the defending world champion Joan Mir, who was the runner-up last Sunday. The Suzuki rider is also having a great season with four podium finishes. But he couldn’t win any race yet. Now online gambling sites in Austria offer the odds of 7.00 for his victory.

Australian Jack Miller has the same odds on bet365 to get his third victory of the season after Spain and France. The Ducati rider is either brilliant or awful this year after crashing out in the last two races. Miller is in fifth place in the championship with seven races left of the season. He can still achieve the best result of his career with his current place or even move up with another win. For example, he can take over his teammate, Francesco Bagnaia who is ahead of him in fourth place. The Italian was only 11th last weekend but has the odds of 6.00 on 22Bet to get the win now.
