Players call casino games as the games of chance; however, they are all about strategy! Do not believe us? Check this article about Physicists Banned from the Casinos! If you are understanding casino maths, you are an all-time winner at gambling! You just need to see the relation between mathematics and casino games. Do not worry, we help you!

The Basics – Understanding Casino Maths in 5 minutes

Math permeates every aspect of life, and gambling is no exception. The mathematics of gambling was always very popular among scientists too.

There is a suitable betting strategy for each casino game. Some systems are more universal and may be used in several games, while others may not. Either way, choosing a proper betting system and applying it correctly, can be a great assistance to all players.

The Fibonacci’s cumulative progression involves a number sequence where each is equal to the total of the two preceding numbers. The beginning zero is always ignored when the strategy is applied to gambling.

The idea being, if one increases their bets continually, sooner or later their winnings will overcome the losses. The Fibonacci betting strategy is especially popular in the game of Roulette. When we apply the system properly, it can help players generate a good profit.

Fibonacci progression strategy is applicable in most casino games but is said to work best in Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, and Baccarat. Keep in mind that if you are understanding casino maths, including the Fibonacci betting system, you are unbeatable!

Craps and the Easy-Peasy Casino Maths

Since we roll two dice in Craps, its mathematical background is based on the calculation of simple probabilities. It further simplifies the results of the base game, that it works with a stake ratio of 1: 1.

As everyone knows, Craps offers 36 combinations of numbers that could be rolled. However, the total value could vary from 2 to 12.

The loser strategy

In the probabilities of craps loser throws, a value of 2 can only come out in one way, with two ones being called “snake eye”. The probability of this is 1/36. In the case of value 3, one dice can have a 1 or 2 while the other dice depending on this, can only be one kind of number. So the probability of 3 is 2/36. Finally, 12 can only come out as a combination of two sixes, so 1/36 is the probability of this defeat.

The winning strategy

Automatically winning cases are throws worth seven and eleven. The possibility of 7 is the best of all since the first throw can be 6 different numbers, so we have a 6/36 chance to roll. In contrast, the probabilities of 11 are similar to 3, so 2/36.

In further cases, the roll must continue until the value thrown to the first, or any amount of 7, comes up. It does not matter how many times and what values you threw between the first and the last roll, so the length and elements of the thrown series (e.g. 4, 5, 8, 7) have no influence on the development of probabilities.

In these events, if the value thrown first is n, the value that came up first should be e, and the value that was thrown last should be v. Then the probabilities sought are as follows.

Blackjack – Understanding the Card Counting System

Everyone plays the game against the dealer, so the cards in the other players do not affect our winnings. The basic strategy can be determined by mathematical calculations depending on the given game. In the minds of the average players, card counting lives on as something mysterious and unlearnable, even though it is only a basic operation, that can be perfectly mastered with proper practice. These methods are well suited to determining whether we are at an advantage or disadvantage in a given situation over the casino. Keep on reading, because understanding casino maths has never been easier!

Contrary to popular belief, card counting is not about commenting on cards, but about their value, by assigning certain values to certain card types and creating groups of cards. We add up the scores assigned to the cards and use this amount to decide whether or not to continue playing. There is, of course, a difference between card counting systems, but only in how you choose the value of each card.

Professor Edward O. Thorp created the first card counting system, the Thorp 10 counter, which assigned −9 to the 10 value cards and +1 to the others. By choosing a good card counting method, we can also decide more easily what round is worth playing, leading us to see if it might be worthwhile to deviate from the basic strategy, which, although mathematically, shows the most optimal solutions.

Roulette has a Very Simple Casino Maths

In online casinos, all you have to do is put one Euro on one color at Roulette. If you win, yours is two Euros. In case of loss, double the bet. If you won, you had four Euros (Of which you had two, you had already failed once, so you won one Euro). If you failed, put up € 8. And so on. If it will not come in for a long time, you still won a whole Euro. Understanding casino maths is not as hard as it seemed first, right?

But where is the trick? How will casinos benefit in this way?

There are two tricks, one is the zero. This is the privilege of the casino. Zero in Roulette is neither red, nor black, neither even, nor odd. On average, every 37th spin is a net benefit to the house. In other words, your chances of winning are far from 50%.

The other trick is the betting ceiling. Casinos do not allow you to place more than 2-3-500 Euros per square. How much money should you put on each color? 1-2-4-8-16-32-64-128-256-512-1024 Euros. As you can see, if the color of your choice will not come in eight to nine times, you will surely lose huge.
