Belgium is obviously the number one candidate to win Group H in the European World Cup Qualifiers. So far they have been living up to the expectations, but will Belgium win every single game in the group stages?

Despite the fact that online betting news in Belgium were sure in their country’s team to ace this group, winning 100% of their matches would still be quite an achievement. the Belgian national team is on the right path to achieve that as they have won 4 out of 4 games so far: Cyprus, Bosnia, Gibraltar and Estonia were all powerless against them, but they were clear favourites against all these teams. However, they are yet to meet the second strongest team of Group H, Greece.

Will Belgium win against Greece as well?

The first encounter between the two candidates to win Group G will be held on 25 March in Belgium. Online betting sites expect the Belgium unbeaten run to continue even after this game, because they have set the odds for Greece to win against Belgium at 8.50 (15/2) at BetVictor. The same online sportsbook would pay only 1.40 (2/5) times your stake if you bet on Belgium to win. Marathonbet has the least faith in Belgium, they set the odds for them at 1.50 (1/2).

Bet on underdog winner at Group H!

If you believe that the Belgium unbeaten record will not be set and that their incredible form will drop in 2017, then you might want to bet on the underdogs to win Group H. I’m not saying it is likely to happen, but it might and you have terrific odds for them! The odds for Greece to win the group are 11.00 (10/1) at Greece betting sites, like Coral Sportsbook. However, we must note that other online sportsbooks in Belgium regard Bosnia and Herzegovina as the second strongest team in the group. Their odds to win are 10.00 (9/1) at Bet365. Belgium’s odds to win are only 1.13 (1/8).

Bosnia or Greece?

If we accept the fact that online sportsbooks try to make us believe that Belgium has no real challenger in Group H, then we have nothing else to do but to try and find the second best team in the group. If you want to bet on Greece to finish in Top 2, your odds are 2.25 (5/4), while the odds for Bosnia to finish in the Top 2 are 1.29 (2/7). However, if you’re one of those hard-core fans who like to bet on the impossible, you can bet on Cyprus or Estonia to finish in top 2 for odds of 81.00 (80/1) and 251.00 (250/1) respectively. Good luck with that!
